We are trying to use a stored procedure to send out Mail. We have a job set up to run the stored procedure once a day. I don't know if we have a problem or if this is how it works, but in order for the stored procedure to work, the machine has to be logged in as sqladmin and we have to have outlook open on that box. This just seems odd to me. Does anyone have any experience with this? I can go into specifics once I can confirm if this isn't normal. Any help would be appreciated.
