I was pointed to a thread that helped with a hal.dll problem. I used search in here to look for the thread. Is there a better way to search for threads?

Alas, we are having on going problems with the search engine, we all look forward to that happy day when it is finally fixed. The managers of the site are aware of the problem.

In the meantime, my recommendation is if you see a useful thread, make sure you keep a copy of the shortcut to it.
