Hi,
I am still trying to build my first Web Application with SQL7.. I am using ASP as programming tool...

My question is:
Is it important to define relations between tables when developing web apps?... As I understand, the main objective of making relations is to make some restriction od data entry...which is not needed is web applications (Could be done by direct programming)

Thanks in advance for reading

The question back to you is: how bullet-proof is your Web application development?

If there is QA, code review, and other checks, and it is impossible that any other application could change the data, then DRI is probably not essential.

But if its a few people working under very tight deadlines where code is put into production without thorough testing (you know, real life), then DRI would be advisable.
