Hello,
I've just read a book about AD, but there are still some questions about it that i didn't find answer.
May be someone can answer:
q1) what about universal group if the root domain is on native mode, and the child domaine on mixte mode.
q2)what happen if the hard drive from the root serveur of the root domaine is completely out of order. (Can we reinstall one?)
q3)What in the consequence of the error message in the event log (.) if we put sysvol on C:
q4)Can we create one UO on different domains.
Thanks a lot if you can answer one or some of these questions. And sorry for my english.

1. Native/mixed mode is AD (not domain) properties
2. Microsoft recommended to have some controllers for avoiding this situation. And use Backup/Restore ;-) vadimp@yandex.ru

1. All native domains wil be able to have the possibility to use Universal groups. Of course that it will not be recognized by the mixed domains.
2. Root domain is very important. If you will loose it, you are loosing all AD forest. So, indeed, have more than one Dcs for it, and have regulary backup too.
3. I don't understand what you are saying.
4. You can create how many OUs you want / domain. Gia Betiu
