I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but...

An email scanning box I monitor (Win2k with McAfee SMTP WebShield) catches most of the viruses in email on their way to the mail server. I check it daily to see what viruses it finds and where they came from. Lately fizzer has been a big one... Anyway, I also notice that mails from a certain legit domain (a fiber/networking co.) come in daily with viruses attached. My question is, should I ignore this and let McAfee keep doing its great job or should I contact their admin and let him know about this?

thanks in advanced!

Contact them. But be nice about it.

Chip H.

Just FYI -

Be aware that most modern viruses spoof the return address. You need to inspect the routing info in the mail header to determine the point of origin.
