question about special folder

May I ask you a question about folders related to Windows XP?

After installing GMail Drive I see in my explorer two times GMail Drive
1) in the left pane if i'm looking in the folder-pane.
2) in the right pane under other.

I want to do the same to another network drive somewhere, but the only thing which will work is number 2.

Please can you help me how to get number 1 fixed. If it is possible only with windows scripting or a registry import.
