Hi guys,

I have a 1700 series with IOS 12.2(16a).

I would like to add a WIC-1ENET module but am not
completely sure they are compatable. From Cisco's website:

"WIC-1ENET Software Requirements

The WIC-1ENET card requires Cisco IOS Release 12.2(2)XJ or later if the card is installed in any WIC slot other than slot 0 or if more than one card is installed.

The card can be used with Cisco IOS Release 12.2(4)T, but the card must be installed in slot 0 and only one WIC-1ENET card can be installed in the router. "

The way I read this is that you can use it with any version
of IOS but with all versions except for the one listed, it must be installed in WIC slot one.

Anybody have any experience with my particular issue?

I use WIC-1ENETs in my 1760Vs (1700 chassis)

I have to put them in slot 0

I've never used two of them.

I use 12.3(14)T2 and all is well

To be accurate, I am using a 1720. Any expericence with this model?
