I create a ghost image (XP)(ran Sysprep and set auto install)am able to pull to server. When I push out to multiple desktops I have to register each workstation with Mocrosoft. Is there a way around this? We currently have a liscence that comes with each workstation.

Also When Pulling an image to the server it goes fast (10 min). When pushing out it may take 3 hours wheather it is 1 workstation or 30.

On the first point about licence issues- we have the same problem; although there are forty odd PCs at one site, some clever person didn't opt for a volume licence for all PCs.

Now when I come to Ghost the PCs I have to leave the setting for the key as manual. The only other way that I know would to be not to use sysprep- I know it's not recommended but I've tried it on a few test PCs and hasn;t caused a single problem (Of course doing this would mean that all machines have the same 'invalid' key - you could use a text file with a script to enter the correct keys).

I also contacted Microsoft about changing existing licences to a single volume one but they said this is not possible unless you pay for the licences again!

On the second issue- I also get the same problem. The only work around I have found is to upload to another PC on the network and then transfer the file on the server for downloading. This worked for me and uploading to a standard PC was almost as quick as downloading it.

Any better solutions would be very much welcome.
