Question about CFForm

I am new to Coldfusion. I have been reading through the books and have read all of the advantages about using the CFForm tag, but are there any disadvantages? I have heard that CFForm isn't powerful enough for complex forms.

Thats not strictly true, you can extend cfform.

Certain tags such as cfslider or cfgrid require java on the client and can be a pain these should be avoided.
