Query to XML

Hi, is there a built in function that can take a query result (from an oracle DB, althought it shouldnt matter as its still an array) and convert it to an XML file automatically?

I could write a function to do this myself, but it wouldnt save alot of bother if there is a way to do this in PHP by default.
