Hey guys I was wondering if any of you have ran into this or have any brite (like rainbow brite) ideas on how to get around it.
The thing is that I am using Forms Authentication to secure certain pages within my project. However, when the user switches from an unsecure page and a secure page there is a problem. The unsecure page is sending some data to the secure page via query string. If the user is not currently logged in the forms authentication sends he/she to the login page. This is where the problem occurs. When the user is sent to the login page the query string data is not sent, so that when they return to the page they intended on going to the query string data is gone... Lost into cyber space.. Heating up the server room in the form of expended energy.
whew, I think I need to eat somethin.
Anyway I was wondering if there was a way to get around using session variables here. Thanks for you comments That'l do donkey, that'l do
