Has anyone queried SNMP devices from SQL server. I would like to do this in a stored procedure. I know I can probably do this using the sp_OA... stored procedures and an SNMP dll...which brings me to my next question (not especially suited for this forum) -- has anyone found a better, free dll for SNMP querying besides OLEPRN.dll that comes with XP..doesn't seem to time out very elegantly.

sorry to drift off topic...
