I have an ACCESS db which i'm using for a mailing list. We have several members of a family at the same address and would like to do a query to pull records so only one member of such families appears. I can do a query with distinct addresses but cannot figure out how to have the rest of the info for the mailing labels to come with it. Any ideas??

Thanx to anyone patient enough to try this one. :)

I'm assuming you're using a totals query. Add the names or whatever to the QBE grid and set their total property to First(or Last).

Sorry, but I dont understand what a totals query is...need Remedial Access 101...:-0

Disregard last msg, Jerry.....Thank you so much, I finally figured it out with your help and got my query fixed so that my mailing list will be as I want it. You're the only one of many who've been able to help...Thank you again and again :)
