I have a crystal reports 7 file being displayed by a CR 9 Web Server. The report is accessed using the RDC and ASP. It is based off of a SQL Server 2000 stored procedure with varchar parameters. This same report runs under CR7, CR8, CR8.5. My belief is that is rewriting the query engine for CR9 Crystal Decisions (aka Seagate software or Business Objects) did not perform a very through regression tests.

A thread earlier stated that the migration of CR8.5 files to CR 10 would be smooth. My question is, where do I begin to diagnose how to solve this problem?

I seems to be left with no other alternative but to save my 150 version 7 files to version 9 and drop supporting prior versions to 9. I hope someone can suggest a better solution.
