Does anyone know of where I could find queries that are already done?
Are there any books, sites that have sample queries or queries that someone has already written so I could follow the basics and then input my own values.
For example, I need to do a query on 32 different software that we are using and query how many PC's are using which ones out of the 32. Like how many PC's are running word 97, how many have Lotus notes etc. Do I have to do a query for each software seperately?
Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to visit Swynk.com. They have a SMS section. A little surfing at this site will lead you to a number of sample queries that have been submitted.
