QuarkXPress 5 upgrade jpg problem

We've just upgraded from 4.1 to 5. All our jpgs are pixelled. They worked great on 4.1 and the size is something to love. Any patches? Suggestions?

Have found a problem with JPEG's in Quark myself, when I print them they change size and move, if not saved a maxium quality. If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

You must be using a JPEG Import filter old version. You can try going in for the latest version from There is also a JPEG Filter.qrc in the Required Components folder. If that is damaged, then you can try reinstalling QuarkXPress.

Note: An EPS with a JPEG preview looks beautiful (24-bit color) when imported, but drops to dithered 8-bit color when it is moved.
