Hello everyone!

I work for a publishing company that is looking to convert our 4 journals to Microsoft Reader (.lit) format. I see that there was an agreement a few years ago between Microsoft and Quark to support the .lit conversion.

I am a fairly new user to the Quark world and was wondering if that extension was made a reality. I currently run version 4.1 (damn these budgets), so I don't know if 5 or 6 already have the extension incorporated.

Personally, I'm not thrilled with the decision to go with MS Reader to create an e-book. Does anyone have any direction for me in that regards?

Thank you most graciously for your assistance,

There's an XTension at the following link:

I think you'll probably need avenue.Quark too (this is provided with versions 5 & up).

Microsoft Reader was being pushed hard for a while, but it's pretty much lost the race to Adobe Acrobat Reader. It's important to note that there are no Macintosh or Linux-compatible versions, as far as I know, which limits it's usefulness.

Thanks a bunch! Most helpful. I was digging for this Xtension too.
