Hi

I work for a financial company. My department has to switch to Quark from PageMaker. I have been playing with Quark 4 under NT4.0, testing several softwares(Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) which I import in PageMaker. Is there anyone out there who has worked with EMF files (not WMF files) in Quark? Quark doesn't allow me to import these files. I was wondering if there is an EMF filter out there. Quark's website doesn't have anything that I can find, and customer service phone is busy, busy.

Thank you and have a nice day.

I've got the same (urgent!)problem of importing financial charts and spreadsheets from Excel into QuarkXPress (though on a Mac, which shouldn't make a difference). Hope others can come up with an answer – I've been told there is one. Meanwhile I just got this tip from an office assistant of someone who does this successfully, but is on holiday:
"Spreadsheets with columns of figures and so on are
imported as text into QXP, and the graphs are imported as images.
In his "pre layout" folder these are indeed either Word or Excel files. But the graphs are also in his illustrations folder saved with the suffix <.tif> and I open them in Adobe Photoshop. Hope that helps."
I'll try this out, and post any further enlightenment. Please do the same.
