Always used Acrobat in the past, but since jumping to OSX 10.3.6 and Quark 6.5 have been exporting files to pdf directly out of Quark with good success. So much so, that I have yet to upgrade to latest Acrobat. But, I am currently having a problem with a Quark doc exporting to pdf. Getting the following message: "Array length is out of range." My pdf doc only shows portions of the layout when viewing in Acrobat Reader 7.0. Besides telling me what this means, I would also like to know if it is it still better to make pdfs from Acrobat than directly out of Quark 6.5? Like I said, I haven't had too many problems until now. Thanks.

Try turning OPI off in your options menu when you make the pdf from Quark

tperkins---that worked, thanks! Now, what does the OPI do and do I need it on to create a hi resolution pdf? Thanks.
