If you are using the I, B, buttons at the bottom of the tool bar to apply italic or bold to your font - DON'T
Doing this can cause your printer problems or cause the font to not print in bold or italic. This is a common mistake.
Be sure you choose a bold or italic type face (ex. Times bold not Times with the bold button clicked to apply bold to the font) otherwise you may be bolding a font that is not available in bold. This will cause your printer problems when they run the file to film.
I have 10 years of design/print experience and I have learned that it's best to use the actual typeface. The buttons may work sometimes, but do you want to take that chance when you go to press?
