Quark 5 Printing

Hi
Has anybody had problems printing Illustrator 7 files from Quark 5 through Distiller.
When they were printed they lost clipping paths we have printed the same file from Quark 4 and its all OK.
We then changed the Illustrator eps to Illustrator 9 PS level 3
and they printed fine.
Anybody got any ideas as we have got 1000's of eps and I don't fancy converting them all as Illustrator does not batch.
