Quark 4.0 files not printing in Quark 6.0 OS 10.2

I recently upgraded to a new G4 running OS 10.2 and also upgraded to Quark 6 from Quark 4. If i open a file that was created in Quark 4, modify it, then save it as a Quark 6 file and try to print, it wont print. If i create a new file it will print just fine. I can also print the converted files on my new HP deskjet, but if i try to send it to my old Laserjet 4 is where it wont print. But a new file will print on the HP LJ4.

The old Mac OS was ver 8.4.

I'm having a similar problem. It seems that certain text boxes are importing corrupt. You can either re-build them once you isolate or PDF's and postscripts seem to print fine. You're not alone.

My problem was solved by updating my version of suitcase. Suitcase X1 (11) is compatible with Quark 6.

Thanks for the info. We are having problems with suitcase and Quark. I will check to make sure i have the latest version of suitcase.
