I am interested in learning if anyone is performing Quality Control on Business Objects reports in as much as a standard appearance that is different than the standard template that comes with the application.
We would like to institute this for reports that have been through a User Acceptance Review for correct data and would like these reports to have a consistent appearance before going into a versioning tool like PVCS or Serena.
Items that we are considering are company logo, font size,last modified date and why,colors other than navy (to reduce toner usage)and an information page to be completed that would explain any report specific variables or conditions (for non-technical people who are using the application). I have a template that I use but, before rolling it out to everyone, I want to know if there may be problems or issues that I have not considered.
Has anyone done this and if so, what problems were encountered? Any suggestions as to what else should be included in such a template would be appreciated.
