Looking for some suggestions to help with a problem i have already listed on here. Basically calls coming in over my IP Routes (QSIG), will not divert to the Voicemail system due to it being DPNSS.

So is there anything i can do to STOP calls that originate from the IP network trying to terminate on the Voicemail?

Can i assign a customer number to an incoming route? Perhaps something in NUTRI can work?

I am looking for some creativity here, i have tried lots of alternatives but they all end with call failure (congestion)

Have you checked the TCMAP to make sure the trunks can cross connect?

Cheers, that will probably be my fall back, BUT i am looking to route the call "somewhere" as opposed to not at all.

i.e. currently the divert is a destination, so if i can add a different routing based on Customer then i will be laughing, but can find no way to add a customer to a route from where the call has come.

Network services are not supported between Q-Sig/IP and DPNSS nodes-You need an IVM or external voice mail in the IP node

ceejay55 - cheers, I know, hence looking for a "workaround".

Thanks anyway
Al

You can probably get the calls into the VoiceMail via Personal Number (PELPI), IF you turn off Net Services on the DPNSS Route OR Turn of Net Services on the IP Route !,
but you possibly won't then have any integration (ie. The Voicemail knowing which extension the call was diverted from - to give the correct greetin).

DPNSS is bad news for Voicemail on MD110.

A proper integration via CAS & IP is much more appropriate to such a terminal application.
