I have for some reason ended up with a quantity of QPC**** cards, as i don't work on the Nortel pbx equipment i have no use for them so do i chuck em or is there any value to them (ie E Bay) at the moment they are just taking up space.

Thanks Ray

just dumpstered, around a 1000 lbs of older qpc cards, the terq's that support them is going away, Sec rls 4, is the death toll.. may fine someone in need of spares but when they upgrade, thier pretty much dust..

Ok thanks for the info,i guess the question is does anyone want any spares at this moment or they are going the way of the Betamax vcr.

Guys,
Will that include the rev C or later cards as well as the dual pri ones?

no the dual pri cards are not the same as the old vintage qpc cards, a soft rule is the older cards are pale gray, the newer cards are much darker face plates, the nt number would be the final judge, dual pri cards are still costly, a couple of grand here in the states

Thanks for answering for me John.As i said in the original post i don't do Nortel pbx and as with everything Nortel things get complicated with s/w versions and grandfathering etc.If required i can put up the part #s ,if that helps.
Yes John was correct these cards are the light grey ones.

I would contact a Telecom Reseller and trade in for credit for your current system or sale them outright. There are several large Resellers out there right now that could probably move your equipment. There are several companys that use the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"., and they will not upgrade their switch until they have no choice, so someone somewhere will probably need what you have.
