Hi guys, I am at a customer site which seems to be having a very strange issue. Although Windows NT4 domain/WINS env seems sound, we have had spurious issues with adding accounts to domains, not being able to logon to machines after adding them to the domain. The problems seem to go away by themselves but it looks like that there is slowdown in domain synchronization.
Why I bring this up in this forum is because it all seemed to have stared when they implemented Lucent's VitalQIP product for DHCP/DNS in order to integrate it with their WIN2K AD environment which I don't know if it is separate from the NT4 domain or if it is integrated (mixed mode).
I have looked up info regarding QIP and it says that it "manages" domain replication traffic. I don't have any experience with the product and can't find any documentation.
Has anybody ever worked with this product or might have an idea on what may be going on. Thanks
