Or,
simply add the group "printq" to the user's "Group set".
It's pretty much why the group "printq" exists, to
allow specific users to revive print queues (and
manage print jobs). The user does not need to be
"SuperUser"/root only a member of the printq group.
Sudo is basically a bad idea and a security risk and
should be avoided if at all possible.
"smitty chuser" will help.
