Chaps,
I'm connecting from our S8700 CM 2.1 to a Cisco Call Manager platform via Q-Sig and have experienced the following problem.
Signalling group is up, trunk group in-service, calls can be made from the Cisco across the link to our endpoints and a conversation can take place.
BUT, I am unable to make a call from the Avaya to the Cisco, I have carried out a "list trace" on the TAC and the following is generated..........
09:37:53 dial 801
09:37:53 term trunk-group 1 cid 0x1bf0
09:37:53 dial 801
09:37:53 seize trunk-group 1 member 30 cid 0x1bf0
09:37:53 Calling Number & Name NO-CPNumber NO-CPName
09:37:53 G711A ss
ff ps:20 rn:1/2 10.1.9.52:2990 10.17.1.154:2120
09:37:53 xoip: fax:Relay modem
ff tty:US uid:0x8a71 cid:0x1bf0
09:37:53 denial event 1166: Unassigned number D1=0x8a71 D2=0x50f01
09:37:53 idle trunk-group 1 member 30 cid 0x1bf0
09:37:54 idle station 3729 cid 0x1bf0
I would like to know what the denial event 1166 is and where it is being generated from, any ideas????
I have tried experimenting within the trunk group form, turning send number, send name fields to both yes and no, but I still get the same.
The test is being carried out from an endpoint in a different network region that the DS1 is located in, but I am able to make calls from other DS1's in the same network region as that board.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
