Just learning..

All my reading states that in Server Explorer if I drill down

server
Server name

I should find SQLServer in the list.
I have Crystal Reports Services, Event Logs, Management Classes, Management Events, Message Queues, Performance Counters, Services..

No SQL Server..

But I can link to my SQL Server in my Data Connections through a physical database via an OLE DB provider.. and I have Sql Server Management on my computer.

Any idea why I don't automatically get it? What I need to do to get it?
I got some advice as follows:
You need to right-click on the Data Connections icon in the server explorer and click on Add Connection. Follow the wizard to set it up. After you do this, the SQL server will show up in the list.
Problem is I do have a SQL Data Connection. So in Server Explorer.. SQL DB in the Data Connection area, but no SQLServer in the server area of the navigation tree.
