CS1K with 3 columns and column 1 is the only one with the alarm.
Had that alarm start Sunday morning and would go off about every 3 to 4 hours and then clear. So Monday I went ahead and got some parts well by Tuesday the alarm came on and would not clear and it is still on now.

What I’ve done so far:
Room tempt is around 75
Changed System Monitor
Changed Blower Unit
Changed Air Probe and Thermostat harness
Replaced Filter

Anybody have any other suggestions to look at, that’s all in the docs I could find to look at.

If you changed the system monitor did you change the slave or master?

kcflhrc, I didn't change the master but I did disable and pull it out of the column to see what effects it would have. The led on column 1 stayed lit and the led on 0 (master) & 2 (another slave) did not lite up. If I pull the monitor out of column 1 the led will go out like it should but that's the only way I can get it to go out. I've opened a ticket and they seem to think it's either the PDU in the bottom of the Colum or a bad wiring harness. It will be later in the week before they get out so if anyone else thinks of something to try let me know.

I would double check the dip switches. At one point Nortel changed manufacturer of those dip switches. So what used to be on is now off. However. It sure could be the PDU

Yea I'll look at that again just to make sure. What I did over the weekend was pull Blower and System Monitor from slave 2 and moved it to 1 and moved the items out of 1 to 2 and the problem stayed with 1. I did change the switches between the 2 slaves.

Everything you have described leads me to believe a bad PDU since the issue is staying on column 1.Maybe check the wiring harness all the way up from the system monitor to the back of each shelf. Could be a bent pin or bad ribbon cable.

Turns out it is a bad cable between the 2 system monitors, I played with that cable the other day and got no alarms that’s why we finally decided it could be the PDU. Well as we got started messing with the cables so we could pull the PDU the alarm cleared. So long story short we stayed focused on the cables and low and behold it looks like the NT8D46AG is bad. Thanks for the help this was making me crazy because I checked all cables beforehand and got nothing oh well at least I don’t have to change the PDU.
