A trunk is given private line treatmet so that is may appear on digital set as "line appearance" User does not have to use AC1, they push the PVR/PVN key and they have CO dial tone.

Usually a private line is programmed as a trunk in a private route. This is done in ld 14 (trunks) and ld 16 (route). The call is terminated on a prdn (unused DN in the system). In ld 11 you program that prdn as a key which could either be
key 2 pvr 1254 <----- private ringing on 1254, 1254 would have been the prdn you prgrammed in ld14
key 2 pvn 1254 <-----private non ringing on 1254.
Print your programming for routes in ld 21 and trunks in ld 20
