PuTTy question 1

I’m using PuTTY to login to all my switches and I don’t know how to change two things.

1 How do I increase the buffer size so I can scroll up on the screen?
2 How do I capture all the text that is scrolling on the screen ?

select the session you are going to open click load, then select window on the left, I usually change the columns to 132 (as this is the output size used in ovlys like 117) and set the lines of scrollback to 20k, also check the reset scrollback on keypress and uncheck the reset scrollback on activity.

For capturing left click in the top right corner while your session is open choose change settings, logging, change to printable output only and browse for a location make a file name and save, then apply. Thats now capturing until you go back to chane settings/logging and turn it off and apply
