What version of Paradox?
1. Common Idapi file on network. This is point of personal preference. I like it, some others don't. I like it because I don't like going around to all the workstations to make changes, or pushing them out individually.
2. Common netfile - all workstations must share the same netfile.
3. I like keeping all my forms, reports and data on the network. It's easier to back-up and make changes. Some people like to keep the forms and report on the workstation. Again, this is just easier for me.
4. Permissions. Make certain that everyone has permission to use any network drive that your Paradox application needs.
5. Paradox takes care of most housekeeping (locks, etc...) so the transition should be fairly easy. If you havn't done network stuff before, you may encounter some design flaws that give you trouble because you didn't anticipate the multi-user environment. Just post specific issues and the folks here will do our best to answer.
