put tape in group

I try put two compaq dlt tape 35/70 in a same group for continuous backup. one is external and other is internal. the software tell me the the group have other type drive. But the difference i can see is word COMPAQ in capital

COMPAQ 35/70GB DLT DRIVE
and
compaq 35/70GB DLT DRIVE

anyone had see this problem ?

It is probably a difference in firmware that is causing the problem.

I upgrade the firmware today. i communicate the result tomorow

You're right after i upgrade the firmware on two tapes all seem good i take the backup tonight.
