Put Control Statement Question 1

I am attempting to change fonts in a report using the PUT CONTROL statement. the font changes correctly but I get a new page for each PUT CONTROL entry. Is there something I am missing?

It's probably an issue with the control string you are sending. For instance, if you are using PCL control and send '<ESC>E' (reset) in the middle of a print job, the reset will force a formfeed.

Can you give details on the control string you are sending?
