Doing some pre-sales work on a fairly complicated customer and have come across two parts that i am unable to answer.
Firstly they are a software company and they use a registration process similar to microsoft whereas you ring them to get your software activation code and also to register the preocess. It is all automated with text-to-speech and SQL and oracle integration. On the SQL side they are using stop procdures. Can the Database execute or another database do these type of procedures ?
The customer alse records their name, address and number. This wav file is later transcriber into their db manually
For credit card processing they wish to use a dll provided by the credit card processing company. This will be needed to be run inside the callflow and pass information back to the caller.
Thirdly and finally they also have a premium service. In australia this a 19 service. They are currently a service provider which means they send information back and forth the carrier. Before it used to be done with tones after the call but now it is done with a secure tunnel (over the internet and sub-addressing on the call (the calls unique id). I assume they would use some sort of program on the operators computer to send this info but it needs to get the sub-addressing info charge it against.
Has anyone done anything like this or am i dreaming to think it can be done by the IPO?
