Can anyone walk we thought how I can run my queries on the server. If I can remember correctly, we were able to do years a couple years back

Thanks again for your time and help

Access is not a true client/server program. The processing takes place on the workstation with the frontend. The backend doesn't do any of the processing. It will assist if you formulate your queries so that only information it needs comes across the wire to your workstation but it still will not run the queries in the backend.

If you connect to SQL Server, SQL Server Express or another type of database system like that you can set up views and stored procedures which WILL run on the server and then pass along the results to Access, but Access alone does not do the processing on the server.
