The Guest account is a built-in user account used to grant BASIC access to users. It an INSECURE account. Used correctly it can also be very benificial to networks. When sharing resources you have to assign EVERYONE permissions to use that resource. If you enable the guest account then all have basic rights to the resources. Again this account is not secure since all have acess to the system/domain. James Collins
