I am about to purchase Dreamweaver and I am wondering whether I should get Fireworks in the same box. I definitely don't need Fireworks at present, but as my website design experience grows I may need it at some time in the future. Getting both products in the same box is equivalent to getting Fireworks at half-price!

My question is... If they come in the same box, will I have to install both products together, or can I install Dreamweaver first, then Fireworks later when I need it? (I hate having unnecessary bloated products on my pc!)

Many thanks,
Alan Harris-Reid

You don't need to instal FW when you instal DW...you'll need FW if you want to make cool menu system (like drop down, fall-down)...
Plus it might be cheaper to buy it together then buy them seprately...
I have it and I love DW and FW... I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

GUJUm0del, many thanks for the reply.

Some dm4 functions don't work wiohtout fireworks, such as create phot album. its simply not possible to use DM4 properly without fireworks.

Just buy it I reckon. Within a couple of weeks of having it you'll wonder how you ever thought you'd manage without it.

I personaly would recommend purchasing Dreamweaver Ultradev + Firworks instead. Once you get going the extra database handling of Ultradev far surpasses Dreamweaver. Live long and make your kids suffer..
