Pulling fields that are blanks 2

Hi everyone...
We are on CR 9... I haven't worked on CR for a while and I am having trouble getting started again. I have a field named project.status. Developers are supposed to be filling in this field (WIP, onHold, etc). I would like to produce an audit report to pull tickets that have blanks in this field so I can distribute to PMs to clean up...
I remember using isnull and have tried to use variations of a formula to no avail - like - isnull({probsummarym1.project.status}).
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

If you place

isnull({probsummarym1.project.status})

In your select expert it will bring back all records which meet that condition.

Check it is a true null value also - It may simply be an empty field:

isnull({probsummarym1.project.status}) or
trim(totext({probsummarym1.project.status})) like ''

CR8User makes a good point, you may have in your options or report options convert Nulls to default.

CR8User's suggestion should cover that too.
