Pulling data from the AS400 ASP.Net 2.0 gridview 1

I am kinda new to ASP.net. My goal is to pull data from an file on the AS400 and display it in an aspx web page. Can anyone give me information on how to do this or a good source to research it myself. Can you do it with the data source wizard? Does it have to be manually entered. Reading data from Microsoft sql is easy but I need to do it from the AS400. Thanks.
