pulldown menu

Hey

i have 2 frames, in one frame i have a pull down menu and when i select an item it takes me to a website. now the problem i'm facing is when i select an item in one frame the selected item should come in next frame but right now the selected item is getting displayed in the same frame. How do i make a selected item to be displayed in an other frame. also my pull down menu is displayed behind another frame not on the next frame, ie when the menu drops down it goes behind the frame not on the frame. Please help me. I'm a beginer so my question may sound silly, any help will be great because i have to do this in the project by tuesday. So please help me.

first of all name all your frames... then use parent.frames.nameofframe.whatever to access it... also, your menu will show up behind the frame, because it is a seperate instance of the browser... in IE5.5 you can fix this by using a function named createPopup(i think) jared@aauser.com
