I have created a layout for printing our student ID's. As it is being printed on business card stock, there are 10 ID's per page. In each ID there is a photo, logo images, text boxes, and a Corel 10 Barcode. The Barcode is the problem, as sometimes when I print Publisher tries to update every barcode twice. That makes about 40 updates for a 2 page layout.
Sometimes this happens, and sometimes it prints without a problem. I realise that the Corel Barcode may well be the culprit, but I thought I might be able to stop this with PubXP.
Is there any way of setting PubXP to NOT update objects that were created using the Insert > Object command?
I have tried the "control how linked objects are updated" help suggestion, but that is only for linked objects. It does not work for embedded objects.
Any help much appreciated.
