Hi,
we have an single-nic isa 2004 in DMZ that publish owa of an exchange 2003 server in the internal lan.
All the traffic between internet/dmz/internal is controlled by a Checkpoint Firewall.
Now we need to publish on the ISA the pop3 service of the exchange.
I have heard that to publish this kind of service the ISA must be a multi-nic server and that ISA must be the default gateway for the exchange server.
I would like to use the ISA server to publish pop3 in a secure way without changing my topology.
Is it possible??
Thanks

you cant publish a server if the default gateway its not the isa server.
multi nic its not necessary but default gateway yes.

hopes its help

Hi Coco,
many thanks for your answer,
I put the default gateway of the Exchange to the ISA but does not work.
If I put the second NIC it works.
Are you sure it's possible without the second nic publish a pop server?
