Hi,
I have a question with regards to Publishing Printers in Active Directory. We are running a Windows 2003 Server domain in mixed mode. On our print server I have selected the option "List in the directory" Now when I add the printer from a client PC I can see all my printers.
What I want to do is to add them into AD, I have gone to an OU and created a printer, I get an error message saying;
"This printer cannot be published. To publish printers on computers running Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 operating system, use the Printers folder" and I can't add my printer"
I have made sure that the Users, Groups, and Computers as containers option is select, but I still cant see my printers.
Is there anything that I am missing?
