Greetings-

I know that i need to consider my audience when publishing Flash content for the web. Here's my situation. Your comments and suggestions are welcome. I'm updating a site for a property management company that does short-term rentals for houses and condos in a vacation community. The audience will be affluent enough to take week-long vacations, but perhaps not so well off that they have their own second home here. Since the Flash 6 player is still relatively new (and the versions of the site that i'm changing were made for Flash 5) is it advisable to publish for the Flash 5 player right now and turn off the "Compress Movie" option under the Publish Settings menu?

I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks for your help.

If you're not using any of Flash MX new features including "Compress movie", then I guess your better off, for the time being, publishing for Flash 5. That way, Flash 5 users will see your movie and so will the ones that have already installed the Flash 6 player. Wouldn't work that way, the other way around! Regards,
