I just published my website, created using Publisher 2000. My site loads a little slow. My provider told me Publisher created sites have extra code in them which slows down performance. Is this so? If so, can it be corrected?

Your best bet is to use Front Page. Even with that it's best to start from scratch.

Publisher is not a good web page generator. It looks good when you are making it, but it doesn't hold up in the real world.

Making a web page in Publisher is like trying to produce a newsletter with Word. It appears you can do it, but it's beyond the realistic capabilities of the product. Jon Holmen
