I am creating a four page brochure in Publsher 98 with a large table that covers page 2 & 3 (the centre spread). How can I print this without having a white line down the middle and missing text? ie. printing right to the edge of the page.

Short answer...you can't. It's not a failing of Publisher; it's your printer limitations. See message under "How can I make Publisher 2000 print a whole page." I would try splitting the table so that it still maintains the desired text.

Hi there,

I am having a browse of old posts, hence this late addition to this thread. Hopefully someone may find it useful.

Just want to let you know that it is possible to print a centrespread in Publisher, with no breaks in the middle. These are a number of ways, depending on what equipment you have available, ie, can you print A3 or have a good photocopier for enlarging:

First, for a small brochure, using A4 in landscape, there's not a problem. The 2 pages in the centre can have a table (or anything else) spread accross and will print as one. The centre area is not part of the non-printing area. This is ok if you want a small brochure.

For a larger brochure, simply enlarge the hard copy on a good quality photocopier.

If you have access to a printer that prints large paper - A3 -then it can be done as above: Page Set-up -Special Fold - Landscape. Place table or whatever in centre page and no problems. Only the non-printing area around the edges doesn't print - unless you are using a great printer.

I forgot to mention, when you choose Special Fold, you work with multiples of 4 pages. That is, you are not setting up 4 individual pages. Otherwise, you will end up with blanks in the middle.
