Hey,

I need to make a square text box into a circlular one, or make the text in the text box wrap around the inside of a circle shape. (So I end up with a bit of text that looks circular).

Like this:

Code:
          ajsfgafgg
       akjsgfagsfaksfg
      kjzfhaklfjgafgakf
     zksjgaksgaskfgafkfak
     jzsgdjsdgagasgjdajdg
      askjfhaskfhaskfhkk
       aksfaksfhakfhksa
          ksghskfgx

Can you tell me how to achieve this? It would be really helpful.

Thanks.

thread68-699439 in the office forum attempts to answer this question using MS Word. I am not sure if they were successful as it all seemed too complicated for me! Have a look and see what you think

Can be done in PowerPoint and copied into Publisher. Had another look at the reply in office forum, and still couldn't work it out.

For some reason, PPT seems more friendly with this sort of stuff. In PowerPoint, draw a circle. Then, right click on the circle and select "Add Text".

Write what you like, it expands horizontally. Right Click again and select "Format Autoshape". Under the "Text Box" tab, there is the option to wrap text to autoshape, and automatically resize the shape.

Copy and paste it into Publisher.

By the way, format the line of the shape and fill under "format autoshape" prior to cutting and pasting.

Thanks! It works quite well, although the text doesn't hug the circle quite as much as I would like. It does the job though. :)
