We have a user who has returned to work in the office after about a year with another company. She was issued a new user account as the old one was deleted when she left.

On her workstation, all of the Citrix applications exhibit this same behavior:
Opening any of the applications from the desktop icon, the ICA Client Icon is observed by the clock, but no application appears. I have switched the application settings to server default in the view settings. When starting the application, the Citrix splash screen is visible, then applying user settings, then a blank screen. From the server side, you can see her printers and even the application running under her context (tt.exe for example) but nothing is visible on the client side.

Steps we have taken to troubleshoot:
Verified her security group memberships. (See below.)
Reload Citrix Client software.
Reconfigure the Application Set.
Delete her profile off of the server.
Tested all of this on several different machines.
All of this produces no positive result.

QUestion, was her new account same as last, and profile locations the same, the profile may still exist. Does she have a terminal services profile location ?

When I first encountered this issue, the first thing I did was to delete whatever profile she had on the server side. A subsquent session wrote a new profile for the user. Yes, it was the same user name as previously used. I wound up creating a new username and setting her up with that. Problem solved, she just logs in with an extra middle initial in her username. Thanks for the thought, if you have more comments, it would be interesting to explore them.

I think her Terminal Services profile location had stuff in iut that was causing your problem. If there is a TS profile location this will be copied to c:\Docs & settings, and hopefully deleted when she logs off.
